The project ran a DokuWiki at wiki.minotor.org. It was small — seven pages with real content — and everything that survives of it is here.

Using Minotor

• What is Minotor — the goal, resolutions, why MIDI.
• How does it work — animations, properties, groups, programs, the bank, editor and live modes.
• Rhythm theory — 24 ticks per beat and how Minotor finds the downbeat.

Hardware

• How to build a LED matrix — WS2801 pixels, an Arduino Mega 2560, a PC power supply, FastLED, then the LEDuino firmware.
• Minotor's team setup — the 24 × 16 stage matrix: panels, connectors, power case.

Installing

• Building on Windows — Qt 4.8, MinGW, Qt Creator.
• Debian repository — the project's own apt repository, now gone.

How these pages were restored

Each page is the text of the latest surviving version, with spelling corrected. Nothing was added to the authors' text; where something has changed since — a library renamed, a repository moved, a figure that does not add up — there is a separate box marked Editor's note, 2026. Every page names the original page it came from.

The wiki's content was published under CC BY-SA 3.0, and the restored pages keep that licence.

Pages that never existed

The start page linked to five more topics — configure_midi_mapping, configure_midi_sync, configure_the_output, create_your_first_program and create_your_own_minotor_animation. The archive has all five, and all five say “This topic does not exist yet”. They were not lost; they were never written.
